Sophon LLC is the company. It is the name on the About page, and it is in the “About the developer” block of every Google Play listing we publish, with the Sheridan, Wyoming address and the phone number. It is not the name a buyer sees. Google Play shows NEXT AI Lab. The App Store shows Yang Yang. Evolve's privacy policy is published by PDF AI Lab. The careers page already lists this under things we have not figured out yet. This post says what each name is and what changing it would involve.
Scope: the six Google Play listings, the App Store listing, and the accounts on Who operates our store listings. It is not an inventory of every account the company holds.
Every name, and where it was read

Two of these are store identities in the sense that matters to a buyer: the developer name on Google Play and the seller name on the App Store are what the store prints next to the price. The rest are account names on platforms where nothing is sold.
What the record explains, and what it does not
The public record shows a sequence, not a reason.
The Apple listing carries a person's name because that is the name the developer account holds; Apple prints the account's name as the seller and nothing in the listing text overrides it. The listing's seller URL is sophoninc.com, so the company is one click from the listing without being named on it.
The Google Play account has been renamed once, from iAI Lab to NEXT AI Lab. The rename is recorded on this site by two privacy policies published under the two names, dated 24 June 2026 and 15 July 2026. Both names describe a lab, not the company.
The social accounts and Evolve's policy carry PDF AI Lab, which is the name of the first product rather than of the company. Evolve's policy names PDF AI Lab in its opening sentence and does not name Sophon LLC anywhere on the page; the string “sophon” appears there twice, once in the contact address feedback@sophoninc.com and once in the Android package com.sophon.book.
What the record does not show is who chose any of this, or whether it was chosen rather than accumulated. Nothing published says, and this post does not guess.
What would have to change
Two are entity names, and they are the ones that decide whether a listing names the company that operates it: the Google Play developer name, NEXT AI Lab, and the App Store seller name, Yang Yang. Neither is a field on the listing. Both belong to the developer account, so both are account changes rather than listing edits.
One is an error in a document we publish. Evolve's privacy policy at myevolve.ai names PDF AI Lab as the party that collects the data. The equivalent policy for the Google Play listings, published under NEXT AI Lab and last updated 15 July 2026, names NEXT AI Lab as the publisher and Sophon LLC as the operator. Evolve's does neither, and a reader of that page cannot get from it to the company. That one is a text change and needs no store's permission.
Three are display names where a trading name may be the right answer and no answer has been published: the YouTube channel, the TikTok account, and the two privacy policies on this site that are titled by account name rather than by product.
None of the six has a date. On 16 September 2026 this is still on the careers page under what we have not figured out yet, which is the honest place for it until one of them moves.
